Hiroe Swen is a renowned ceramic artist who was based in Canberra for many years before recently returning to Japan. We participated in her digital archive project as translators, editors, and proof-readers. The archive provides a comprehensive record of Hiroe’s artistic journey, featuring an extensive collection of photographs alongside video clips documenting her creative process and the making of her artworks. We are honoured to have contributed to this project, helping to share her practice with a wider audience.

長年キャンベラを拠点に活動し、近年日本へ拠点を移した著名な陶芸家スウェン博江さんのデジタルアーカイヴ制作に翻訳・編集・校正担当として参加しました。このアーカイブは博江さんの制作活動の歩みを包括的に記録するもので、豊富な写真資料に加え、制作過程や作品が生まれるまでの様子を紹介する映像も収録されています。彼女の制作活動をより多くの方々に届けるためのこのプロジェクトに関われたことを、私たちは大変光栄に思います。
